The Facilitative ApproachAll MathSP instructors utilize facilitative techniques to teach important concepts to our students. Rather than simply giving students the answers, instructors are trained to guide students to identify the correct techniques to solve problems. Students work problems on the board to methodically and carefully solve problems - not only to just answer the question, but also to understand whether there is more than one way of getting to the answer. Such an interactive learning environment allows students to uncover their errors and grasp a better understanding of the material.
