Private Tutoring
There are various methods to learning. Private Tutoring offers you personally tailored one-on-one interaction focusing on your specific areas of improvement. This high level of interaction allows our instructors to uncover your weaknesses to create a structured curriculum that focuses on an individualized approach to facilitate your improvement. Our instructors closely monitor your progress from session to session; throughout the course, students take assessment tests to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. Our flexible curriculum allows you to move at a pace that is comfortable while also meeting your goals within the given timeframe.

Small Group Courses
MathSP uses previous test scores and/or diagnostic tests to form small groups of students with similar skill levels. Each student individually benefits from the small size, while also learning and interacting with peers. Students work both independently and together to solve problems to ensure individual competence is met, and expert instructors utilize the Facilitative Approach to confirm each individual’s understanding of concepts and problems. A flexible curriculum allows the small group to move at a comfortable pace within the structure of the course.
Features of Small Group Tutoring:
- Classes comprised of a maximum of ten students with similar goals and skill levels
- Peer interaction which encourages exchange of knowledge and mastery of material
- More than 24 hours of total instruction

GRE Strategy Workshops
Select graduate programs partner with MathSP to offer GRE Strategy Workshops to prospective students. Interactive and engaging, these workshops are held multiple times throughout the year and provide an overview of the GRE, decoding the computer-adaptive scoring model and solving real GRE problems from the “Official Guide to the GRE revised General Test” in a dynamic environment. Using the SP Method™ and Facilitative Approach, students learn, practice, and master effective test-taking techniques and concepts with an expert instructor’s guidance and feedback.
